Maryland High School Basketball - Smithsburg thwarts Edgewood
December 27, 2023: Edgewood, MD 21040 The Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD) basketball knocked off the host Edgewood Rams (Edgewood, MD), 71-59 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Leopards (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Brunswick (Brunswick, MD). The Railroaders go into the CMC test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Brunswick went down by Herndon (Herndon, VA), 51-44, in a non-league test.
The Rams now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Loch Raven for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2.
