Mississippi High School Basketball - Shaw nudges West Bolivar
December 26, 2023: Rosedale, MS 38769 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Shaw Warriors (Shaw, MS) basketball squad edged the host West Bolivar Eagles (Rosedale, MS), by a count of 53-47.
The Warriors (3-11) will now prepare for their outing against North Side (Shelby, MS). The Gators go into the non-league outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, North Side was tipped by Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS), 66-18, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Leland for a 1A Region 5 outing on Wednesday, January 3. West Bolivar will clash with a Cubs squad coming off a 46-27 non-league loss to West Tallahatchie (Webb, MS). The Cubs record now stands at 2-12.
