New Jersey High School Basketball - Morristown overwhelmed by St. Rose
December 26, 2023: Belmar, NJ 07719 The St. Rose Purple Roses basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Morristown Colonials to 25 in the Purple Roses non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Purple Roses now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union City for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. St. Rose will battle a Soaring Eagles team coming off a 61-49 non-league loss to Saddle River Day (Saddle River, NJ). The Soaring Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
The Colonials (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, NJ). The Blue Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Immaculate Heart Academy was routed by Immaculate Conception (Montclair, NJ), 54-39, in a non-league contest.
