December 26, 2023: Winchester, IL 62621 The Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans basketball team (Concord, IL), was overwhelmed 43-19 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars (Winchester, IL)
The Cougars now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carrollton for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] will confront a Hawks team coming off a 48-37 non-league loss to Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 12-5.
The Trojans (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Beardstown (Beardstown, IL). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Beardstown was overwhelmed by Mendon Unity (Mendon, IL), 42-29, in a non-league battle.
