December 26, 2024: Macomb, IL 61455 Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL), 46-32 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Macomb advances its record to 8-2 on the year. The Bombers travel to Mercer County (Aledo, IL) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 7-6. Mercer County won 64-36 in their recent non-league match against Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL)
The Little Giants now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Abingdon/Avon for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. Canton will face a Tornadoes squad coming off a 58-49 non-league loss to Eureka (Eureka, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 4-7.
