December 26, 2024: Lake Zurich, IL 60047 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) and the visiting Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL), observed Lake Zurich's basketball team overcome Lemont by a score of 62-52.
The Bears (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Zee-Bees come into the North Suburban challenge with a 3-8 record. In their last challenge, Zion-Benton dropped by St. Francis de Sales (Chicago, IL), 61-33, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lemont HS battle the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Lemont will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 60-48 non-league win over Fenwick (Oak Park, IL).
