Illinois High School Basketball - Fenwick fells Lake Zurich
December 30, 2024: Lake Zurich, IL 60047 The Fenwick Friars basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Lake Zurich Bears to 37 in the Friars non-league triumph on Monday.
The Friars now have a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bolingbrook for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 31. Fenwick will confront a Raiders team coming off a 59-49 non-league win over Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Lake Zurich falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Bears host Zion-Benton (Zion, IL) to confront the Zee-Bees in a North Suburban game on Tuesday, January 7. The Zee-Bees go into the game with a record of 3-8. Zion-Benton lost 61-33 in their recent non-league game against St. Francis de Sales (Chicago, IL)
