In Thursday's non-league test, the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC), by a score of 57-14.

Next, the Bucks encounter the Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 27. Hoke County will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 7-3 record after their 59-41 non-league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC).

The Aviators (1-5) will now prepare for their test against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans come into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, West Brunswick was routed by Lee County (Sanford, NC), 33-29, in a non-league test.
