Washington High School Basketball - Meridian knocks off Sultan
December 26, 2024: Sultan, WA 98294 In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Meridian Trojans basketball team scored a good 45-35 win over the Sultan Turks.
The Trojans (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Cougars come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Lakewood defeated Curtis (University Place, WA), 48-38, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Turks battle the Port Angeles Roughriders (Port Angeles, WA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Sultan will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Roughriders come into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 45-37 non-league loss to Bellevue Christian (Clyde Hill, WA).
