The Meridian Trojans basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host Squalicum Storm to 36 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Blaine for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game on Friday, December 20. Meridian will confront a Borderites team coming off a 44-11 league loss to Sehome (Bellingham, WA). The Borderites record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Squalicum falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Lakewood (Arlington, WA) to confront the Cougars in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game on Saturday, December 21. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 2-3. Lakewood won 55-44 in their recent non-league game against La Conner (LaConner, WA)
