Kentucky High School Basketball - Oldham County routed by Nicholas County
December 26, 2024: Buckner, KY 40010 Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) fans went home pleased Thursday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the host Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY), 71-49 in a non-league challenge.
The Bluejackets (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Gallatin County trounced Trimble County (Bedford, KY), 49-43, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Colonels battle the Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Oldham County will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 54-39 non-league loss to Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY).
