Kentucky High School Basketball - Nicholas County triumphant over Dayton
January 23, 2025: Dayton, KY 41074 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) and the host Dayton Greendevils (Dayton, KY), observed Nicholas County's basketball team overwhelm Dayton by a score of 74-51.
The Bluejackets (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Black Devils come into the District 38 challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Robertson County was routed by Augusta (Augusta, KY), 66-41, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Greendevils battle the Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 24. Dayton will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record.
