December 27, 2021: Galesburg, IL 61401 The Galesburg Silver Streaks basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Altamont Indians to 56 in the Silver Streaks non-league victory on Monday.
The Silver Streaks now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richland County for a non-league contest on Monday, December 27. Galesburg will battle a Tigers team coming off a 55-36 non-league loss to Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 6-6.
The Indians (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against St. Anthony (Effingham, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, St. Anthony was defeated by Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond (Arthur, IL), 54-37, in a non-league contest.
