December 28, 2021: Effingham, IL 62401 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL), by a count of 57-33.
The Silver Streaks (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 12-1 record. In their last outing, Mahomet-Seymour smashed Rantoul (Rantoul, IL), 74-17, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Casey-Westfield for a non-league match on Monday, January 3. St. Anthony will face a Warriors team coming off a 63-17 non-league loss to St. Elmo/Brownstown (St. Elmo, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-17.
