Massachusetts High School Basketball - Lunenburg fells Ayer Shirley
December 27, 2022: Ayer, MA 01432 Lunenburg Blue Knights (Lunenburg, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ayer Shirley Panthers (Ayer, MA), 74-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lunenburg upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Blue Knights host North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 1-3. North Middlesex Regional lost 67-62 in their recent non-league bout against Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA)
Next up, the Panthers clash with the St. Bernard's Central Catholic Bernardians (Fitchburg, MA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Ayer Shirley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Bernardians go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 53-31 non-league win over Narragansett Regional (Baldwinville, MA).
