December 27, 2022: Washington, CT 06793 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) basketball squad edged the visiting Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT), by a count of 65-64.
The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against North Branford (North Branford, CT). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, North Branford was tipped by Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT), 67-52, in a league outing.
The Blue Devils now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Lyman Hall for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 29. Coginchaug Regional will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 61-39 non-league win over Wilcox RVT (Meriden, CT). The Trojans record now stands at 4-0.
