December 27, 2022: Warrenton, OR 97146 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Warrenton Warriors (Warrenton, OR) and the visiting La Pine Hawks (La Pine, OR), saw Warrenton's basketball squad hold off La Pine by a tally of 60-56.
With the victory, Warrenton improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Yamhill-Carlton (Yamhill, OR) to confront the Tigers in a 3A Coastal Range challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Yamhill-Carlton won 53-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Salem Academy (Salem, OR)
Next up, the Hawks encounter the Creswell Bulldogs (Creswell, OR) in a 3A Mountain Valley test, on Friday, January 6. La Pine will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 6-2 record after their 62-28 non-league win over North Bend (North Bend, OR).
