The Becton Wildcats (East Rutherford, NJ) basketball nipped the host Lyndhurst Golden Bears (Lyndhurst, NJ), 40-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (3-3) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary (Rutherford, NJ). The Gaels go into the North Jersey - Meadowlands B test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, St. Mary was tipped by Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ), 50-8, in a league test.
