Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes (Homestead, FL) and the host Braddock Bulldogs (Miami, FL), saw Somerset Academy South Homestead's basketball squad overcome Braddock by a tally of 41-21.

With the victory, Somerset Academy South Homestead improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Mater Academy Charter (Hialeah Gardens, FL) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 4-5.
