December 27, 2022: Wellsburg, WV 26070 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV) and the host Brooke Bruins (Wellsburg, WV), saw Wheeling Park's basketball squad wallop Brooke by a tally of 78-29.
With the victory, Wheeling Park improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV) to confront the Monarchs in a Two Rivers challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. John Marshall won 62-43 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH)
Next up, the Bruins confront the John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV) in a Two Rivers challenge, on Monday, January 2. Brooke will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 79-36 league loss to Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV).
