December 27, 2022: Mineola, TX 75773 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Huntington Red Devils (Huntington, TX) and the host Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX), saw Huntington's basketball squad knock off Mineola by a count of 46-34.
With the victory, Huntington upgrades its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Neches (Neches, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 16-2. Neches lost 49-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Hemphill Hornets (Hemphill, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Mineola will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 73-26 non-league loss to Douglass (Douglass, TX).
