December 28, 2022: Hemphill, TX 75948 Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hemphill Hornets (Hemphill, TX), 61-5 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mineola upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Queen City (Queen City, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Queen City lost 60-48 in their recent non-league bout against Normangee (Normangee, TX)
Next up, the Hornets play the New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Hemphill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 101-31 non-league loss to Tenaha (Tenaha, TX).
