Illinois High School Basketball - Mendon Unity tops Macomb
December 27, 2022: Mendon, IL 62351 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mendon Unity Mustangs (Mendon, IL) and the visiting Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL), saw Mendon Unity's basketball squad knock off Macomb by a tally of 43-28.
With the victory, Mendon Unity improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Illini West (Carthage, IL) to play the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Illini West won 42-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Lewistown (Lewistown, IL)
Next up, the Bombers play the Illini Bluffs Tigers (Glasford, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Macomb will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 62-32 non-league loss to Brown County (Mt. Sterling, IL).
