The Valley Cavaliers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Piscataquis Pirates to 35 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest Hills for a D South contest on Monday, January 2. Valley will meet a Tigers team coming off a 46-33 league win over Seacoast Christian (South Berwick, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.

The Pirates (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME). The Howlers enter the C North contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Penobscot Valley was routed by Dexter (Dexter, ME), 44-41, in a league contest.
