The Poly Engineers basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the visiting Aberdeen Eagles to 71 in the Engineers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Engineers now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Clifton for a Baltimore City contest on Thursday, January 4.

The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Elkton (Elkton, MD). The Golden Elks come into the Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Elkton was defeated by Tri-State Christian (Elkton, MD), 52-49, in a non-league contest.
