Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Calexico Bulldogs (Calexico, CA) and the visiting West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA), saw Calexico's basketball squad overcome West Valley by a tally of 54-36.

With the victory, Calexico improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Royal (Simi Valley, CA) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 15-2. Royal won 86-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Cathedral City (Cathedral City, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Rancho Mirage Rattlers (Rancho Mirage, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. West Valley will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Rattlers come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 58-41 non-league win over Coachella Valley (Thermal, CA).
