In Saturday's non-league match, the host Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets basketball team scored a good 51-37 triumph over the West Valley Mustangs.

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets face the Brawley Wildcats (Brawley, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 5. Palo Verde Valley will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record.
