Maine High School Basketball - Easton holds off Fort Kent
December 27, 2023: Easton, ME 04740 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Easton Bears (Easton, ME) and the visiting Fort Kent Warriors (Fort Kent, ME), saw Easton's basketball squad hold off Fort Kent by a tally of 53-50.
With the victory, Easton improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Bears host Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Hodgdon won 61-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Katahdin Cougars (Sherman Station, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 30. Fort Kent will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 56-35 non-league loss to Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME).
