December 27, 2023: Fountain Inn, SC 29644 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Fountain Inn Fury (Fountain Inn, SC) and the visiting Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC), saw Fountain Inn's basketball squad wallop Polk County by a tally of 73-34.
With the victory, Fountain Inn improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Fury travel to East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. East Henderson won 61-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Pickens (Pickens, SC)
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Pickens Blue Flame (Pickens, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Polk County will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Blue Flame come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 61-35 non-league loss to East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC).
