The Landrum Cardinals routed the host Polk County Wolverines basketball team by a final score of 80-41 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 14. Landrum will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record.

With the defeat, Polk County moves to 1-4 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Patton (Morganton, NC) to face the Panthers in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills game on Friday, December 15. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 7-0.
