George West Longhorns (George West, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Harmony School of Excellence Hawks (Laredo, TX), 59-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, George West upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Agua Dulce (Agua Dulce, TX) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Agua Dulce won 62-49 in their recent non-league bout against Raymondville (Raymondville, TX)

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Raymondville Bearkats (Raymondville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Harmony School of Excellence will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Bearkats go into the bout with a 8-14 record after their 62-49 non-league loss to Agua Dulce (Agua Dulce, TX).
