Maryland High School Basketball - Herndon can't hold off Middletown
December 27, 2023: Middletown, MD 21769 The Middletown Knights basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Herndon Hornets to 70 in the Knights non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Knights now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yorktown for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Middletown will battle a Patriots team coming off a 62-24 non-league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 7-4.
The Hornets (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Brunswick (Brunswick, MD). The Railroaders come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Brunswick was nudged by Yorktown (Arlington, VA), 62-24, in a non-league contest.
