December 28, 2023: Herndon, VA 20170 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Herndon Hornets basketball team scored a tight 51-44 triumph over the Brunswick Railroaders.
In their next game, the Hornets meet the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) in a District 2 match, on Wednesday, January 3. Herndon will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Highlanders enter the match with a 7-3 record after their 61-34 non-league win over Fairfax (Fairfax, VA).
