Texas High School Basketball - Lipan knocked off by Hooks
December 27, 2023: Lipan, TX 76462 The Hooks Hornets basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Lipan Indians to 50 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Hornets now sport a 15-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sabine for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Hooks will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 60-50 non-league win over Quitman (Quitman, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-5.
The Indians (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Gordon (Gordon, TX). The Longhorns enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Gordon ran past Wellington (Wellington, TX), 51-46, in a non-league contest.
