Massachusetts High School Basketball - Lowell trounces Merrimack
December 27, 2023: Lowell, MA 01852 The Lowell Red Raiders (Lowell, MA) basketball crushed the visiting Merrimack Tomahawks (Merrimack, NH), 82-57 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Red Raiders (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Pinkerton (Derry, NH). The Astros go into the non-league test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Pinkerton walloped Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA), 87-75, in a non-league test.
The Tomahawks now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Haverhill for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Merrimack will encounter a Hillies squad coming off a 54-44 non-league win over Westford Academy (Westford, MA). The Hillies record now stands at 2-4.
