December 29, 2023: Derry, NH 03038 In Friday's non-league outing, the Pinkerton Astros (Derry, NH) basketball squad edged the visiting Lowell Red Raiders (Lowell, MA), by a margin of 80-76.
The Astros (7-0) will now prepare for their outing against Spaulding (Rochester, NH). The Red Raiders go into the Division I outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Spaulding held off Timberlane (Plaistow, NH), 68-40, in a league outing.
The Red Raiders now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pelham for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 30. Lowell will clash with a Pythons squad coming off a 65-50 non-league loss to Leominster (Leominster, MA). The Pythons record now stands at 3-2.
