Texas High School Basketball - McLeod crushes Miller Grove
December 27, 2023: Cumby, TX 75433 McLeod Longhorns (McLeod, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Miller Grove Hornets (Cumby, TX), 70-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, McLeod upgrades its record to 21-0 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX) to play the Tomcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Tomcats go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Tom Bean won 75-38 in their recent non-league bout against Bowie (Simms, TX)
Next up, the Hornets play the Celeste Blue Devils (Celeste, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Miller Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 56-55 non-league win over Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX).
