Texas High School Basketball - McLeod crushes Saltillo
December 27, 2023: Saltillo, TX 75478 McLeod Longhorns (McLeod, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Saltillo Lions (Saltillo, TX), 67-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, McLeod upgrades its record to 21-0 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Miller Grove (Cumby, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Miller Grove lost 90-21 in their recent non-league bout against Martins Mill (Ben Wheeler, TX)
Next up, the Lions clash with the Tom Bean Tomcats (Tom Bean, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Saltillo will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Tomcats go into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 75-38 non-league win over Bowie (Simms, TX).
