November 20, 2023: Avery, TX 75554 The McLeod Longhorns basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Avery Bulldogs to 41 in the Longhorns non-league victory on Monday.
The Longhorns now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waskom for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 21. McLeod will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 52-38 non-league win over New Diana (Diana, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against De Kalb (De Kalb, TX). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
