Texas High School Basketball - McLeod tops Harleton
January 19, 2024: McLeod, TX 75565 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the McLeod Longhorns (McLeod, TX) and the visiting Harleton Wildcats (Harleton, TX), saw McLeod's basketball squad knock off Harleton by a count of 44-30.
With the victory, McLeod upgrades its record to 28-2 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX) to play the Tigers in a 2A Region III District 21 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Linden-Kildare lost 74-5 in their recent league challenge against Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Linden-Kildare Tigers (Linden, TX) in a 2A Region III District 21 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Harleton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record.
