With the victory, Saltillo improves its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Lions host McLeod (McLeod, TX) to confront the Longhorns in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 19-0. McLeod won 66-9 in their recent league challenge against Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX)
Next up, the Pirates confront the Tom Bean Tomcats (Tom Bean, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Bowie will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Tomcats come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 45-38 league win over Whitewright (Whitewright, TX).
