December 8, 2023: Simms, TX 75574 The Bowie Pirates basketball team scored 36 points and restricted the visiting Rivercrest Rebels to 24 in the Pirates non-league victory on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host White Oak for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Bowie will battle a Roughnecks team coming off a 44-36 non-league win over Maud (Maud, TX). The Roughnecks record now stands at 4-6.
The Rebels (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Avery (Avery, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Avery dropped by Maud (Maud, TX), 43-39, in a non-league contest.
