McLeod Longhorns (McLeod, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Linden-Kildare Tigers (Linden, TX), 66-9 in a league bout.

With the win, McLeod upgrades its record to 19-0 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Bowie (Simms, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 10-4.

Next up, the Tigers play the Harleton Wildcats (Harleton, TX) in a 2A Region III District 21 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Linden-Kildare will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
