Illinois High School Basketball - Neoga can't hold off Ridgeview
December 27, 2023: Neoga, IL 62447 The Ridgeview Mustangs basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Neoga Indians to 48 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tremont for a Heart of Illinois contest on Tuesday, January 2. Ridgeview will battle a Turks team coming off a 78-60 non-league loss to Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL). The Turks record now stands at 7-4.
The Indians (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Paxton-Buckley-Loda was nudged by Oakwood (Fithian, IL), 57-46, in a non-league contest.
