December 26, 2023: Monticello, IL 61856 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Ridgeview Mustangs (Colfax, IL), by a count of 64-24.
The Sages (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against Clinton (Clinton, IL). The Maroons go into the non-league outing with a 13-0 record. In their last outing, Clinton smashed Neoga (Neoga, IL), 73-32, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Tremont for a Heart of Illinois outing on Tuesday, January 2. Ridgeview will clash with a Turks squad coming off a 78-60 non-league loss to Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL). The Turks record now stands at 7-4.
