Alabama High School Basketball - Vinemont overwhelmed by Section
December 27, 2023: Section, AL 35771 The Section Lions basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Vinemont Eagles to 39 in the Lions non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coosa Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Section will battle a Conquerors team coming off a 62-48 league win over Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, AL). The Conquerors record now stands at 4-3.
The Eagles (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hanceville (Hanceville, AL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Hanceville triumphed over Dora (Dora, AL), 54-41, in a non-league contest.
