December 27, 2023: Espanola, NM 87532 Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM), 48-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Espanola Valley upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Sundevils travel to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM) to play the Horsemen in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Horsemen go into the bout with a record of 7-3. St. Michael's won 47-38 in their recent non-league bout against Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Panthers play the Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Penasco will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Sundevils go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 47-38 non-league loss to St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM).
