Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Steel Valley overwhelmed by Fort Cherry
December 27, 2023: McDonald, PA 15057 The Fort Cherry Rangers basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Steel Valley Ironmen to 9 in the Rangers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Rangers now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McGuffey for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Fort Cherry will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 61-24 non-league win over Avella (Avella, PA). The Highlanders record now stands at 8-0.
The Ironmen (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Avella (Avella, PA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Avella was routed by McGuffey (Claysville, PA), 61-24, in a non-league contest.
