Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Steel Valley tipped by Carlynton
December 5, 2023: Carnegie, PA 15106 The Carlynton Cougars basketball team scored 24 points and held the visiting Steel Valley Ironmen to 18 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Avella for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Carlynton will meet a Eagles team coming off a 50-20 non-league loss to Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
The Ironmen (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Keystone Oaks nudged West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA), 50-33, in a non-league contest.
