The Troy Trojans basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Hico Tigers to 21 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Trojans now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lago Vista for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Troy will meet a Vikings team coming off a 51-40 non-league win over Whitney (Whitney, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 9-10.

The Tigers (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against De Leon (De Leon, TX). The Bearcats enter the 2A Region II District 11 contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, De Leon ran past Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX), 61-23, in a non-league contest.
